Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty
Ashton Blaise Whitty born October 1st 1995 was born in Berkeley California. Her most well-known role is as an actress who has appeared as a character in Choices (2011), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004), and Chrissie Mair's Content House.
Asia Argento grew up in Rome Italy. Her family is made up of actors, and she herself has been pursuing both careers. Sogni e bisogni, directed by Sergio Citti and starring Asia Argento, at nine was her first film. She played the lead role in Cristina Comencini's Zoo (1988) and appeared in Michele Soavi's 1989 feature film The Church. Then, in 1989, she portrayed Nanni Moretti's (also directed) daughter in Red Wood Pigeon. Close Friends (1992) by Michele Placido (both writer and director) is where Asia truly began to take off. This let her progress from roles that were primarily young girls to more complicated, mature character. Cannes International Film Festival was a great achievement for the film. The actress has produced three films with her father, Trauma, The Stendhal syndrome and Phantom of the Opera. The Phantom of the Opera will be her third film with her Father, which includes Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. Asia's focused and intense style of acting was also utilized by Giuseppe Piccioni in Condannato a nozze. Patrice Chereau directed Queen Margot. It was a role that was internationally acclaimed. In 1995 Asia worked with Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion, for which she won a David di Donatello. Asia started directing as a career in 1994. The first film she directed was Prospettive. The film she created about her dad followed by Abel/Asia (1998) the film which won an award at the Rome Film Festival and was both directed between 1996 and 1998. Asia was first introduced as a feature-length director with Scarlet Diva (2000). In this film, she played the role of a lead actor and also wrote the screenplay. The film premiered worldwide in May 2000. The film was given a special award by the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn. After directing numerous music videos and giving birth, she welcomed her first daughter, Anna Lou. In 2002 she starred in The Red Siren by Olivier Megaton with Jean-Marc Barr and in the action thriller directed in the film by Rob Cohen, with Vin Diesel. Asia is the creator of a number of short stories which were published in various magazines.
